The North New Zealand Hospital in Hillerød is designed as a clear and rational healthcare landscape. A modular layout, legible routing and consistent daylight access contribute to clarity, calm and a human scale within a large and complex program.
The project is driven by the conviction that surrounding patients with greenery and light supports recovery and well-being. Once completed and fully integrated with the landscape, this hospital will become an exceptional architectural highlight.
Commissioned by Herzog & de Meuron, I documented the project during the construction phase through photography and moving image. The building is shown across all scales — from landscape integration and spatial overviews to precise architectural details — creating a coherent portrait of architecture in the making.
