The new building for Clinic Arlesheim in Switzerland is a compelling example of holistic architecture in which health, sustainability and aesthetics converge. Situated on a historic site where anthroposophical medicine has been practiced since 1921, the project establishes a new identity for the clinic.
The façade, with its organic forms and semi-circular windows, expresses a rhythm of inhalation and exhalation, reinforcing the sculptural quality of the building. Architecture and landscape are carefully aligned, creating a sense of calm, orientation and engagement.
With my background as an architect, I enjoy documenting such construction processes. By combining photography and film, the building already comes to life at this stage, revealing its potential. An exceptional project that will gain further depth once the surrounding landscape is fully realized.
