For Mecanoo, I photographed the renewed Ede–Wageningen station as a place where architecture, landscape and everyday use converge. Located at the edge of the Veluwe, the station functions not only as a transport hub but also as a gateway to nature.
The timber roof, composed of large triangular elements, references the forest canopy and gives the station a warm, almost serene character. Daylight filters through the roof structure, enhancing spatial rhythm and clarity.
My images focus on the relationship between light, material and space. The architectural qualities are translated into visuals that are both informative and narrative, with a strong emphasis on experience and use.
