About

With a background in architecture, I observe space, proportion and detail with precision. This architectural eye forms the core of my work in photography and video. I understand what architects want to show – and what their clients want to feel.

I combine photography and video into one powerful visual strategy. Photography provides focus and precision; video adds experience and depth. Together they create a visual language that strengthens designs, tells stories convincingly, and helps architects present themselves in a distinctive way.

Translating architecture to visuals

My work is characterized by a clear sense of layering. This is reflected in the careful construction of compositions and in the way I always depict projects across multiple scales – from urban context and spatial overviews to fragments and details. I capture spatial sequences, materiality and light, and show how people move through and experience spaces. In this way, my work communicates the essence of architecture.

Delivering technically flawless work is a given for me. The real challenge lies in making visible what truly matters. Thanks to my cum laude degree in Architecture from Delft University of Technology, I understand exactly where the essence lies – and how to translate it effectively into images.

It is about translating architecture into imagery. This fascinates me endlessly, and I approach it with precision, a critical mindset, and complete conviction.

Clear, layered, and compelling visual work.

Photography

Thanks to my architectural background, we speak the same language, and I can work effectively with minimal briefing. On site, I rely on my intuition – something I trust implicitly. By making lightning-fast yet deliberate decisions, I instinctively find the best viewpoints, and that feels right every single time.

When you understand what architecture is about, and when you understand how viewpoint and focal length (of a lens) influence the outcome, your camera becomes an instrument for translating architecture into imagery. That is what architectural photography is all about.

02

Video

Architecture and video are a perfect match. Moving images add an extra dimension. They make the sensory experience and the use of architecture visible, bringing a project to life in a dynamic and almost tangible way.

A strong video captures your design philosophy and offers an immersive experience. It helps you present yourself in a distinctive way.

03

Drone footage

Drone footage provides overview and places a project within its spatial context. It enables viewpoints that are unreachable from the ground. When it adds real value to the content, I am happy to use this technique.

In no-fly zones, I collaborate with a trusted specialized partner. Flights are carefully prepared, permits are obtained, and during the flight we remain in contact with the authorities.

Art direction 3D render visualisations

My experience in translating architecture into imagery also applies to visualizations. The freedom to determine the ultimate viewpoint, light, and moment within a virtual model is unparalleled – like a child in a candy store.

I provide art direction for 3D renders and animations, focusing on the message and the emotion needed to strengthen pitches and selection processes.
